Edgar and Elen’s journey began in the summer of 2019 during a cultural exchange in France—an experience Elen nearly skipped, if not for a gentle nudge from her mother. When Edgar stepped in to assist her group, a natural connection formed—rooted in kindness, curiosity, and ease. What followed was a long-distance relationship defined by quiet devotion and steady perseverance. In August 2024, Edgar proposed at the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat, on the iconic Belvedere balcony—Elen’s dream setting.
Now living in Los Angeles, they continue to build a life grounded in love, creativity, and shared moments with friends and family. She brings energy, color, and movement to their world, while he offers warmth, calm, and unwavering light—together, a perfect balance of spark and steady glow.

In a playful custom, one of the bride’s shoes is “stolen” and must be “bought back” by the godmother, who then helps dress the bride, spins the veil over her head seven times, and completes the ritual with a spritz of perfume.
At the reception, the couple is welcomed in a traditional entrance: following their parents and godparents, they are blessed with lavash placed on their shoulders and offered honey by the groom’s mother as a wish for a sweet life together.
